This is a very nice used example of a Railway hand lamp as used around the steam days in the 40's & 50s. It stands 13.00 tall over the fixed steel carry handle.
It has the original bevelled thick glass lens with no chips or cracks, within the brass bezel (extra polishing left for you) with the brass side slide fixing rod. The body is 100mm diameter with the Wakefields Birmingham 1945 makers plate - The internal top central section has the cone with the clam style heat vent cap - which all rotates to display the 3 different aspects , Blue (GC) red (GC) and the clear space for the white light effect. It has the brass & ceramic burner marked Sherwood Lynlight - with the reservoir in good usable condition with wick and all on the vertical slide fixing bracket. It is a nice tidy complete example - ready for the special spot in your display. Not often seen these days.
