Vintage / Antique Adlake Railroad Lantern/ Lamp With Original Mounting Bracket

  

Antique Adlake Railroad lantern with original mounting bracket. Painted black but it looks like it might have been painted red at one earlier time. Has clear large lens and small viewing lens in back to check on the flame I guess.

I can turn the wick mechanism up and down but cant get the door to open to see if there is still everything inside. I don't really know how to describe the mounting bracket, it has an angle corner area with mounting holes to bolt it in but it also has a round hole that looks like it could also mount on a 1-1/4 inch pole. Please see the pictures to get a better idea of what I'm trying to say! Measures about 13.5 inches from bottom of angle bracket to the top of the lantern by about 8 inches from the edge of the bracket across to the square head bolt on the side holding the lantern to the bracket. Actual lantern size not including the bracket is 9 x 5 x 7 inches at the lens.

Clear lens is 4 inches across. I will be listing another Adlake lantern, 2 lens - red and clear - no bracket. Please see my other listings.
